CMK Modern Art

Contemporary Art with a Jewish Soul

Claude Moshe Kemoun is a French-Israeli contemporary artist whose work brings together popular culture, Jewish identity and contemporary life.

Art between tradition and modernity

Through painting and ballpoint pen drawing, Claude Moshe Kemoun explores faith, identity, society and spirituality through a visual language inspired by popular culture.

His works offer several layers of interpretation — an immediate, often humorous encounter followed by a deeper reflection on tradition and contemporary life.

Oil Paintings

Color, symbolism and contemporary storytelling.

Stencil Drawings

Precision, detail and stories told line by line.

My name is Claude Moshe Kemoun. I am a painter.

I am a French-Israeli contemporary artist, born in France in 1980 into a secular Jewish family.

I grew up surrounded by popular culture, regardless of the medium. From an early age, I was fascinated by French, American, and Japanese comics.

These influences continue to shape the way I create and the visual language I use in my work.
